Partner with Raven

Raven's efficient drug discovery platform generates more commercial opportunities than we can pursue independently. Strategic partnering is therefore a critical component of our ability to advance Raven's novel antibodies into clinical development.

Accelerating clinical development of potential new products in partnership with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies is key to the Raven business model to build long-term value.

Raven pursues the following types of collaborations:

  • Licensing and/or co-promotional agreements for our clinical pipeline products and pre-clinical MAbs and targets in development. Raven can collaborate to develop antibodies from our existing library of functional antibodies. Partners may choose to advance these programs independently or in conjunction with Raven.
Partners may also work with Raven to augment their MAb R&D capabilities (e.g. humanization of antibodies, process sciences manufacturing, toxicity studies, and more) for specific projects.
  • Raven's partnering agreement with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals to develop and commercialize selected MAbs from the Raven portfolio of antibodies to a specified target

    Target
Molecules, parts of molecules, molecular processes, and constituents of molecular processes that can be affected by a drug. The best targets tend to have the greatest degree of specificity.

  • Product collaborations around Raven research in Conditioned Cell Immunization (CCI), a new class of cancer

    Cancer
A general term used to describe more than 100 different disorders in which cells divide uncontrollably; and may invade nearby tissues and spread through the bloodstream and lymphatic system to other parts of the body.

One of a group of large, complex molecules consisting of chains of amino acids linked together that contain carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and often sulfur.

Antigen
Any substance that can be recognized by the immune system and induce the production of antibodies. Antigens include proteins and other molecules on the surface of bacteria, viruses, cancer cells, and other foreign tissues and are the targets to which antibodies bind.

An agent used for treating a disease or condition, as opposed to use as a diagnostic or for research.

Treatment of disease using chemicals that have a direct effect on the disease-causing organism or diseased cells; widely used in the treatment of cancer.

Our partners also benefit from the experience and expertise found at Raven, whose employees have brought many valuable products from preclinical development to the marketplace.

Partnering with Raven can accelerate the probability of technical success. Our external collaborations are tailored to meet the specific needs of our partners.
